The Town Board approved several administrative and project actions during the June 15 meeting by unanimous votes (Ayes 5, Noes 0).
Key actions recorded in the minutes: the board approved the release of maintenance guarantee securities from $18,000 to $0 for Harke Farms Sewer District, Contract No. 1, and from $3,000 to $0 for Harke Farms Drainage District, Contract No. 1, based on the Town Engineer’s written recommendations. The board also adopted a resolution to abandon an easement and portion of Riviera Drive (Lot No. 1A — Riviera Shores) and accepted a proposed drainage easement for the same property; each resolution was moved and seconded and passed 5–0.
On subdivision matters, the board adopted a resolution that the developer (Maple Road Associates, Inc.) must post securities for The Farmstead Subdivision Section No. 8 as certified by the Town Engineer, listing amounts for maintenance guarantees ($11,624 total — $6,132 sewer, $5,492 drainage), overland drainage ($25,000), highway ($65,960), monument deposit ($1,800), parkland contributions ($12,000), and any unpaid engineering, legal or administrative fees. The board also moved to accept easements for sewer and drainage facilities and accept a warranty deed and dedication for roads in Section 8 (Mediator Way, Lepinske Farm Place and Cooper Trade Place) conditioned on developer compliance.
The board appointed Michael Becker to fill an unexpired term on the Zoning Board of Appeals to Dec. 31, 2030. The meeting was adjourned at 8:19 P.M.
