Ben Harrell of CHA presented a special‑permit application for CNY Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine to relocate from Fly Road in DeWitt to a building at 5232 Witz Drive in Clay. Harrell said the practice would occupy approximately 7,000 square feet and that another medical tenant could occupy the remaining space. He stated the hours of operation would be "8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday" and estimated patient traffic at 60–100 clients per day.
Councilor Young asked whether the parcel would be subdivided; Harrell said it would not. He confirmed the site currently has the parking required for the proposed medical use because the prior occupant was Molina Healthcare. Shawn Corbett raised accessibility concerns about pedestrian connections; Harrell said sidewalks connect to the site and he would relay comments to the applicant. Deputy Supervisor Bick recommended considering an elevator upgrade to improve access to the second floor.
The board closed the public hearing after these questions and comments. Any formal decision on the special permit will follow review of the public‑hearing record and any staff recommendations.
