Road Superintendent Joe Gardner reported to the board that crews have been asphalting R4 and 214, working on the JH entrance and the 254 bridges, and conducting other spot repairs. Gardner also said the department and administrative staff are spending three to four hours per week correcting timesheets because of app issues and that office coverage gaps have left callers without timely responses. Commissioner Keith Kelly said residents expect returned calls; the board discussed pulling other personnel to provide coverage.
