Courthouse Custodian Pat Richter told the Board of County Commissioners on July 13 that Blackjack Concrete and Building LLC submitted a bid of $43,608.00 to repair a damaged section of the courthouse’s east driveway and that replacing the manhole ring would add $2,000.00. Richter said capital outlay funds are available for the work.
Commissioners asked Richter to seek a new consolidated bid that would include other deteriorated spots so the county could complete repairs at one time, and they directed him to solicit proposals from additional vendors before moving forward.
