The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District board on Oct. 13 approved a grant agreement with the Kingsburg Healthcare District to partially fund installation of a larger, upgraded marquee at Kingsburg High School in the amount of $75,000. The motion (M069-2526) passed unanimously.
Superintendent Dr. Ryan Phelan updated the board that the new marquee is already installed and reported "A big thank you to the Health Care District!" He said the district has received positive feedback from staff and the community about the new sign. The grant was presented to the board in the supporting documents and accepted by recorded vote.
