Eliza Harris Giuliano told the workshop that Edgewater has secured over $16,000,000 in grants for water-quality work and is extending reclaimed-water access to reduce potable consumption. She suggested designing streetscape improvements to include green infrastructure that treats stormwater while providing park-like amenities.
"City's already secured over $16,000,000 in grants for water quality," Giuliano said. She said green infrastructure may strengthen grant eligibility and provide dual benefits of treatment and public realm improvements.
