A number of residents urged the city to expand waterfront access beyond the Boston Whaler site and to plan for parking and boat-launch demand. One attendee who said they use paddleboards described launching as "chaotic" at the current ramp and asked where the city could buy or add public water access.
Giuliano acknowledged limited frontage and said public access could also be achieved through conditions on private waterfront development. Residents also warned that state permitting caps on docks could constrain the number of new slips, and several commenters suggested staffed parking or resident tags to manage weekend crowds at Menard May Park.
