Jay Goldin, a neighbor of Brook Haven School, told the board he has collected soccer balls that have come over his fence and that he is awaiting the district's response to prior information he submitted about noise, field use and fence damage. "He is awaiting the district's response to the information he submitted last month regarding noise and usage as well as damage that has occurred to the fence," the minutes record.
Goldin also said he had spoken with a WESCO board member who mentioned plans for a new field at the Community Center and that he hopes that will reduce use of Brook Haven's field; the board did not provide an on-the-record timeline or response during the public comment period.
