Council accepts withdrawal of Chipman/Stake Center annexation application

Patrick O’Brien, Development Services Director, told the council that "enough time has lapsed since this annexation was started, so they felt it needed to restart." Council Member Ernie John moved to accept the withdrawal of the Chipman/Stake Center Annexation and Council Member Staci Carroll seconded the motion; the council voted 5-0 to accept the withdrawal.
The withdrawal removes the current application from the council’s active docket; any future annexation for the parcel will require a new application and process under city code.
