The Troup County Board of Commissioners took the following formal actions on April 21, 2026:
- Approved the meeting agenda and minutes from the April 7, 2026 work session and board meeting. - Authorized staff to apply for an $8,000 USTA Georgia facilities grant with a 50% ($4,000) local match. - Adopted the community development fee schedule as presented. - Approved the fire department's purchase of cardiac monitors at $74,750 and a budget amendment moving EMS funds to the fire department. - Voted to keep Adams Road open and to open the state-repaired bridge. - Approved a text amendment to Article 13 (telecommunications, antennas and towers) on second reading and approved UDO edits to Appendix B redefining central sewer subject to non-substantive typo review. - Tabled the data-center UDO amendments to allow staff to incorporate substantive additions and return a revised draft.
