Staff presented the second reading of a text amendment to Article 13 of the county’s Unified Development Ordinance covering telecommunications antennas and towers. Staff told the board the draft had not changed since the April 7 meeting and that the second reading was vote-eligible.
"Nothing has changed. This is the 2nd reading and it is vote eligible," a staff presenter stated. A commissioner moved to approve the amendment, a second was given, and the board approved the text amendment.
No members of the public spoke in favor or opposition during the hearing on this item. The chair explained that the board also would review the ordinance text for minor typos and non-substantive edits before final publication.
