Council tables Certified Tax Rate resolution; Truth in Taxation hearing date left unresolved

Mayor Frost asked the Council to table a resolution that would have set the Certified Tax Rate and a Truth in Taxation public hearing date. Council Member Carroll moved to table and Council Member John seconded; voting was recorded as yes from Staci Carroll, Tim Holley, Ryan Hunter, Ernie John and Clark Taylor, and the motion to table passed.
The item was deferred for further staff work and follow-up. Council did not vote on a hearing date at the June 9 meeting; if and when the Council sets a Truth in Taxation hearing date, the meeting notice and formal adoption will be posted according to statutory requirements.
