The City of Markesan Board of Review opened its session at 5:16 p.m., temporarily adjourned at 5:18 p.m. to allow a property owner to appear later, and reconvened for an evening hearing at 7:05 p.m.
After hearing — and denying — the filed objection for 531 W John St, the board adjourned at 7:11 p.m. and reconvened again at 7:16 p.m. Mayor Rich Slate noted that no additional property owners appeared during the required two-hour session. A final motion by Ald. Joseph Kazda, seconded by Ald. Pat Prill, to adjourn the 2026 Board of Review carried 3-0; the board adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
