Staff described a request by Scott Morgan to rezone 2.02 acres of a 98.35‑acre tract from Agricultural Intensive (AI) to Agricultural Residential (AR) to provide a buffer between active agricultural operations and an adjacent small residential neighborhood off Lakeside Hills Road.
Staff said rezoning to AR would promote personal agricultural and residential use consistent with surrounding properties and the comprehensive plan character. After the public hearing was closed with no recorded speakers in opposition, the commission moved and seconded approval and the motion carried.
