Gassman reviewed several department budget requests and the county’s projected income and expenses, then told the Board he would return next week with changes and another draft budget for continued review. The session was procedural; no final budget decisions were made. The Board left Gassman's proposal for further review ahead of additional meetings to complete the county’s fiscal 2027 budget process.
Next steps: consultant to return with revised draft and the Board will continue detailed review sessions until final adoption.
