The Clark County Board of Commissioners on April 21 approved claims totaling $93,906.31 and authorized the Auditor to issue payments. Notable claim amounts included a Stryker Sales power lift chair for $15,952.19 (Ambulance), a Codington County Auditor prisoner care charge of $8,341.94, an Axon Enterprise body camera bundle for $4,658.60 (Sheriff) and Crafco Inc mastic one for $24,667.50 (Road & Bridge). The claims list also included routine departmental charges and utility bills.
The board also approved payroll totaling $105,579.11 covering county staff; Road & Bridge had the largest payroll line at $46,672.71. During the claims vote the board denied sales tax on one Sharp Automotive bill and directed the Auditor to issue payments for approved items.
