Clark County BOE approves six property appeals, adjusts valuations

Parcel #5871 (Thomas and Victoria Borns) had an assessor value of $362,373; the assessor recommended $301,182 and the board approved that recommendation on a motion by Commissioner Chris Sass, seconded by Commissioner Terry Schlagel.
For Parcel #8186 (Jason and Kylie Steen) the record shows an NA-D-S assessor value listed as $45,261 with a local board figure of $24,894; the assessor recommended changing one NA-D-S value to $33,946 and left another assessed value at $531,109; the board moved to change the NA-D-S value to $33,946 and the motion carried. Parcel #5345 (Sandra Hansen) was corrected for a data-entry error with an assessor valuation of $319,966 and the board approved the correction. Parcel #3837 (Allen Stacey) received approval for a late application for owner-occupied status. All motions passed with unanimous votes.
