City Manager Chris Lohr told Carlisle City Council on June 23 that staff expect to present a proposed solar land lease with Dimension Energy in July. Lohr said the lease would include a three-year construction timeline and require Dimension Energy to provide financial assurance for proper disposal of solar panels at the end of their useful life.
Lohr characterized the discussion as a preview and asked residents to review upcoming legislation and contact staff or council with questions before July meetings. Council members did not take a vote on the lease at the June 23 meeting; the matter was presented as advance notice of forthcoming legislation.
