Local firefighters warn closing Kaysby station would increase response times and oppose district dissolution

He reiterated strong opposition to closing the Kaysby firehouse, stating, "we are strongly against the closing of this firehouse and the shutting down of this fire district."
Other public commenters raised operational concerns; the mayor and clerk responded on asset-transfer and permitting questions and directed residents to file formal requests for documentary follow-up where appropriate.
