City sets Sept. 5 deadline for engineering SOQs and forms selection committee

Finance Director Janice Flynn told the council that statements of qualifications for professional engineering services are due Friday, Sept. 5. She said a committee will convene to make a selection and recommendation to Council at the Sept. 16 meeting.
The selection committee named in the minutes consists of Mayor Michael Christensen, Councilmember Kannely, Public Works Director Mauricio Romero and Finance Director Janice Flynn. Flynn also reported that a contract draft with Kovach Architects PS Inc. has been prepared by the City attorney and will be reviewed by Alex Kovach and placed on the Sept. 16 agenda.
