Fulton County approves senior center policies after Area Office on Aging monitoring visit

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on April 14 approved updated policies and procedures for the Fulton County Senior Center after review by Senior Center Director Brian Horst and a monitoring visit by the Area Office on Aging on January 20, 2026. The board recorded that Horst presented the required policies and requested the board’s review and approval. Commissioners approved the policies by unanimous vote. The minutes do not reproduce each policy item; they state the policies and procedures were presented ‘as attached’ and approved by resolution 2026-257. Implementation and compliance with Area Office on Aging requirements will be managed by the Senior Center and county staff.
