Ellis County approves Big Creek Estates 3rd Addition final plat and adopts Resolution 2026-07

Commissioner Michael Berges moved and Commissioner Nathan Leiker seconded "I move to approve the Big Creek Estates 3rd Addition final plat application and Resolution 2026-07 to establish the creation of the Big Creek Estates Addition to Ellis County, Kansas." The motion passed by a voice vote of three to zero.
Resolution 2026-07 as adopted describes Lots One and Two in Block Five of the Big Creek Estates Addition and a tract in Block Five designated as Future Park, and directs the County Clerk to endorse the plat. The county recorded that no financial impact on the county is anticipated and that the preliminary plat had previously been reviewed and returned to the Joint Planning Commission for corrections earlier in the process.
