Patrick Smith, risk manager for KCAMP, presented Wabaunsee County with a $3,109.80 check as a rebate on the county's insurance‑pool contributions and thanked the county's risk committee for facility self‑inspections and documentation.
"Smith shared his appreciation for the work the County has done to identify and mitigate property and liability risk, as well as educate employees on the importance of sound risk management practices," Smith said during the meeting. The rebate reflects the county's documented risk‑management activities and will be applied as a credit to insurance contributions.
Commissioners received the presentation during the April 20, 2026 regular meeting. No formal action beyond acceptance of the presentation was recorded.
