St. Helena Parish Police Jury reappoints two and appoints one to Tourist Commission; accepts one resignation

At its Feb. 10 meeting the St. Helena Parish Police Jury acknowledged receipt of a resignation letter from Michelle Muse reporting her departure from the St. Helena Parish Tourist Commission Board. The acknowledgement was entered into the minutes and accepted by the jurors.
The Jury also reappointed Debbie Butler (effective Nov. 8, 2025) and Deshon Muse (effective Feb. 8, 2026) and appointed Alberta Franklin as a new member of the Tourist Commission. The reappointments and appointment were approved by unanimous motion (moved by Ryan Byrd and seconded by Jule C. Wascom) and recorded in the official minutes.
