During the public-comment period, Matt Wynkoop — identifying himself in his role with the Sebastopol Education Foundation (SEF) — asked the Board for clarity about a reported $10,000 donation and how SEF disbursements are handled.
"In his role at the treasurer for SEF, he asks if the board was aware of the $10,000 donation and wants clarity how SEF disbursements are made," the transcript records. Wynkoop also asked why a community message and agenda item on the subject had not been scheduled sooner.
Board President Deborah Drehmel and Superintendent Sara Gramm said staff are preparing a community message and that a facilitated listening session will be scheduled to work through community concerns; the board did not take an immediate vote on SEF processes during the meeting.
