The City of Anamosa City Council voted to form a subcommittee to advance the proposed jointly funded School Resource Officer (SRO) position.
The council appointed Rod Smith (mayor), Rich Grama (council member), Jeremiah Hoyt (city administrator) and Eric Worley (chief of police) to the subcommittee. The motion to form the subcommittee was moved and seconded and carried on the council’s roll call.
The resolution and appointment instruct staff and the named officials to coordinate next steps for jointly funding and implementing an SRO assignment with the school district and partner agencies.
