County backs SS4A grant application and opts to link to Economic Development site for data‑center info

County Administrator Chad Kinsley asked commissioners whether the county should create a dedicated webpage for data-center information; after discussion the board chose instead to link to the Economic Development website and to list dates and times of related meetings there. Kinsley also presented a Letter of Support for the Flint Hills Regional Council’s multi-jurisdiction application to the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program.
Commissioner Merl Page moved to approve the Letter of Support authorizing participation in the Flint Hills Regional Council application for the SS4A program. The motion carried 4-0, with Commissioner Deloyce McKee absent for that vote. Kinsley additionally noted a county Tax Sale scheduled for July 9 at 11 a.m. in the Sunflower Room.
