Annette Straughter moved, seconded by Chris Garriga, to reappoint TaDarren Jackson to the Lincoln Parish Communications District representing Grambling State University for a four-year term (Feb. 10, 2026–Feb. 10, 2030, Resolution No. 2026-11). Chris Garriga moved, seconded by Annette Straughter, to reappoint Paula Griswold as commissioner of the Greater Ward One Waterworks District for a five-year term (Feb. 10, 2026–Feb. 10, 2031, Resolution No. 2026-12). Each motion carried with recorded unanimous yeas.
"Dr. Darryl Johnson Is hereby and herewith appointed, COMMISSIONER Waterworks District No. 2 Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, For the term of February 10, 2026 – February 10, 2031," the resolution text reads. The minutes show the formal appointment language and the recorded votes but do not record any discussion or statements from the appointees.
