The Lincoln Parish Police Jury voted Feb. 10 to authorize the Parish Administrator to execute Memoranda of Understanding with agencies affected by Winter Storm Fern to secure disaster-recovery support services.
Homeland Security Director Kip Franklin presented the Winter Storm Fern report before the motion. Commissioner Chris Garriga moved to approve the authorization, seconded by Commissioner Logan Hunt; the motion carried with ten yeas and zero nays. The authorization directs use of the Police Jury’s existing contract with Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC for recovery services.
"authorize the Administrator to execute Memorandum’s of Understanding (MOU) with agencies impacted by Winter Storm Fern for disaster recovery support services through the Police Jury’s existing contract with Hunt, Guillot, & Associates, LLC," the motion record states. The action enables the parish to formalize interagency recovery roles and access contracted support under the ongoing agreement.
