The Iron County Board heard that the AODA Prevention Coalition, in partnership with Human Services and the Sheriff’s Office, continues to implement objectives in the Opioid Settlement Funds Work Plan.
Additional funding from Vital Strategies supported three community conversations with individuals with lived experience; themes from those sessions were compiled into a Coalition Toolkit: Turning Community Input into Action. The toolkit will guide coalition priorities in 2026, with an emphasis on outreach, stigma reduction, and improving access to harm-reduction and treatment resources.
