Board amends agenda to add vacancies discussion, adopts minutes and sets Nov. 18 meeting

At the Oct. 21 meeting President Glenn Austin called the Winn Parish Industrial Board to order at 3:07 p.m. Mr. Tony McManus moved to amend the agenda to add discussion about vacancies on the board; Mr. Jason Tarver seconded. The board voted 5 yeas, 0 nays, 2 absent and carried the amendment.
Following the amendment, Mr. McManus moved to adopt the agenda as amended (second by Mr. Tarver); the motion carried 5–0. Mr. Joe Evans moved to adopt the minutes of Sept. 23, 2025 (second by Mr. McManus); that motion also carried 5–0. President Austin announced the next meeting would be Nov. 18, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
There being no further business, Mr. Joe Evans moved to adjourn and Mr. Frank McLaren seconded; the meeting was declared adjourned at 4:02 p.m. All procedural motions and votes were recorded in the meeting minutes.
