The select board moved to appoint Pamela Fitzgerald to the Board of Health for a term ending 05/03/2027 and voted in favor.
Pamela Fitzgerald introduced herself to the board and described relevant experience in regulated industry work and environmental projects. "So my name is Pamela Fitzgerald. I live in town. I think I've lived here for maybe 12 years... So I feel like in that aspect, I'd be an asset for the board of health and, like, with the transfer station and with different, the, like, South Pond, things like that," Fitzgerald said. The board then voted to appoint her and invited her to be sworn in so the board could have a full complement for upcoming health board business.
The motion to appoint was offered by a select board member (speaker 3) and seconded; the board recorded the vote in favor. The appointee said she has prior experience in chemistry, recycling and environmental safety work and expects to assist on transfer station and pond issues. No members recorded opposition.
