Council meets in closed session on property, litigation and personnel; meeting adjourned
Summary
The Council entered a closed session to discuss the sale, purchase or lease of real property; pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and the professional character or competence of an individual and later returned to open session and adjourned.
At 8:10 p.m. the Council voted to enter a closed session citing Utah State Code provisions to discuss the sale, purchase and/or lease of real property, pending or reasonably imminent litigation, and the professional character or competence of an individual. Those present in the closed session included the mayor, five council members, the City Administrator, legal counsel and the City Recorder. The closed session began at 8:21 p.m., the portion on property and litigation was recorded as required by state law and the meeting returned to open session at 9:38 p.m.
After returning to open session the Council formally adjourned. Council Member Holley moved to adjourn and the motion carried; the meeting ended at 9:38 p.m. The minutes note that discussion of personnel matters included an attached affidavit as required by state statute.
