Gordon said brown-water complaint calls are "way down" after implementing pig-launch and receiving stations and cleaning roughly half of the worst line section; the next half is scheduled for December and routine annual maintenance will follow. "We finished all the implementation of installing the pig launch and receiving stations... We're gonna clean the next 0.5 this December," Gordon said.
In response to a commissioner question, the deputy or project presenter (speaker 6) updated the committee on Fierce Ferry Road construction, saying traffic will be shifted to provide one lane in each direction and that the road is expected to "be functioning as designed in 2026" with punch-list items continuing into 2027, weather permitting. No further public comments were recorded and the meeting scheduled one executive-session item to move to debate before adjourning at 9:15.
