Under new and continuing business the board directed staff to obtain bids to repair two large potholes in the west parking lot at the Ford Road site; President Alex Gray said he will get the bids. The board also asked for signage mockups from Sign Works (approximate size 9" x 12") for picnic sites and agreed that park signage at the Ford Road entrance should read 'Carmel Valley Community Park' consistent with existing east park signage.
Separately, Four Seasons Painting will provide stain samples for four picnic tables, and Director Karolyn Stone will research vendors for a memory plaque and tile. Steve Goodman will ask Bazart Landscaping for a trimming proposal specific to the Museum Picnic Site — a related but separate maintenance action from the $3,300 west-side trimming contract approved earlier.
