The board revisited several former-business items. Members agreed the west park signage should mirror the east park and read "CV Community Park," and President Alex Gray will discuss the signage wording with Dan Loberg.
Counsel recommended the park district enter an agreement with the History Society regarding the Society's fire protection system; under the recommendation, payment would be by annual invoices from the History Society after an agreement is signed. The board also discussed flag pole lighting and Alex Gray said he would ask CV Ironworks for a proposal for a protective cage for the upward lights to reduce damage.
