Carmel Valley park board elects pro tem and approves FY2026–27 benefit-assessment resolutions

The Carmel Valley Recreation and Park District board conducted a Public Hearing on the Benefit Assessment for FY2026–27 and elected Vice President Mike Thatcher as Pro Tempore President to run the hearing in the absence of President Alex Gray. The board reviewed the Final Engineer’s Report dated 7-08-26 and recorded that no members of the public spoke during the hearing.
After considering the engineer’s report, the board adopted Resolution 2026-04, ordering the levy and collection of the annual assessment for the Carmel Valley Recreation & Park Maintenance Assessment District, and adopted Resolution 2026-05, certifying compliance with state law for the levy of assessments. Both motions passed unanimously. The hearing was adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
