Council presses staff on monument responsibility and trail maintenance for transferred parcels

On partial trail ownership, staff explained the city would typically remain responsible for maintaining trail segments even where a trail crosses Metro District property, and sidewalks would be handled similarly. "So we would still be responsible to take care of that trail even though it's crossing the Metro District's property," staff said, adding the city is reviewing parcel and covenant documents case by case.
