Justin, a county staff member, told commissioners he is preparing a CERDA grant application to fund Dawson Park corridor improvements that would include two roundabouts and a 'ride in, ride out' access feature. He said the county will request $2,000,000 and that a resolution authorizing submission will be brought to the board next week to meet the Aug. 21 deadline.
Justin said the project is already included in capital planning and that CERDA funds would provide an offset to local SPLOST funding. He invited commissioners to raise questions when the formal resolution is presented at the next meeting.
