Committee members recalled a prior detailed presentation and suggested an abbreviated version for the board and the public to explain policies and the weeding process. "They had this presentation where they went over the the rules and guidelines and showed us that there were guidelines," the Chair (S2) said, noting it helped community members understand why items are withdrawn.
The Director (S5) agreed to schedule the session and said she would place it on the calendar for September, while members proposed a community‑needs focus for August to precede the operations presentation. The board emphasized that the session should be informational rather than a forum for policy decisions, and staff will consider recording or posting the session online for those who cannot attend.
