The Director (S5) told advisory board members that new reservation software is live and an upcoming change to patron renewals is planned for September.
"Our new programming and meeting room reservation software, LibCal, is now live," S5 said, adding that staff find the tool easier to use and encouraged members to try it on the library website. Members noted the improved ease of use for booking rooms and programs.
S5 also announced operational changes to loan management: "Link is moving to auto renewals starting in September." The board discussed communication plans to make sure patrons understand the change and that staff will provide guidance as the change approaches.
