Rep. Hammer requests $3.2 million for Radnor Lake parking and smaller grant for Travelers Rest museum

"As you've been aware, Radnor Lake has sustained a lot of damage," Hammer said, arguing the parking would relieve overrun lots and provide safer visitor access. He also asked for $35,700 to improve public access, paving and lighting at the Travelers Rest Historic House Museum, saying the site hosts children’s and community programs and dates to 1799.
The requests were presented as part of the informational amendment list; committee members did not vote. If advanced in the budget process, the Radnor Lake request would require project scoping, engineering estimates and coordination with the Department of Environment and Conservation and the non‑profit Friends of Radnor Lake.
