Clerk, DA and medical examiner give routine updates; EM issues weather alert

Clerk of Court Shari Rudolph told the committee there are multiple trials set for August. District Attorney Cliff Burdon said Marquette County has a trial scheduled Aug. 12–14 and that an Aug. 6 trial has been canceled.
Medical Examiner Amanda Thoma reported there were six deaths in June for Marquette County. During the meeting EM Director Lt. Williams warned the committee that "we are under a severe thunderstorm warning at this time." These routine operational and scheduling updates were presented early in the meeting and were recorded for committee and administrative follow-up.
No committee action was taken on court scheduling or medical examiner reports during the session; the items were recorded as part of regular operational briefings.
