Lantana sets 3.75 millage rate for FY 2024–25

The Lantana Town Council on Sept. 18 adopted a final operating millage rate of 3.75 mills for fiscal year 2024–25, approving resolution R10-2024 in a unanimous 4–0 vote. Council member Mason moved to adopt the resolution, and the council quickly agreed without extended debate.
Mayor Lithgow announced the rate during the final public budget hearing, stating the proposed operating millage rate is 3.75 and that the rate necessary to fund the budget is “8.42% above the rolled back rate of 3.4588.” The motion to adopt resolution R10-2024 carried 4–0. The resolution text was read into the record before the vote by town staff.
