The Lantana Town Council voted 5–0 to adopt the town’s tentative budget for fiscal year 2024–25 and set the proposed millage rate at 3.75, unchanged from last year.
“The proposed millage rate necessary to fund the budget, is, 3.75, which is no change from last year,” the mayor said during the public hearing announcement. Council members moved and seconded the motions to adopt the millage and the budget; the meeting record shows both votes passed unanimously. The council scheduled a final public budget hearing for Sept. 18, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at 500 Grenell’s Circle.
