TAC adopts updated bylaws and aligns remote-participation policy with Board of Supervisors
Summary
The council approved revised Tourism Advisory Council bylaws and decided to follow the Board of Supervisors' remote participation policy; members also activated the nominating committee ahead of June elections.
On a motion by Kurt Bozenmayer, seconded by Wayne Kirkpatrick, the Tourism Advisory Council approved updated TAC bylaws with all present members voting yes.
The council also revisited remote participation rules discussed in March and agreed to adopt the Board of Supervisors' policy for uniform application across county boards. Chair Bessie Weber asked members to begin considering officer nominations for a June election; members present volunteered for next-term positions and the nominating committee will formalize results at the June meeting.
