During the Ward County Board of Equalization meeting, Noreen Wilkie presented a memorandum showing Rushville Township's 2026 valuation changes. "True and Full values of residential properties increased 10.26%, commercial properties increased 1.38%, and agricultural land reassessed using the most current soils data from the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and land use and the total agricultural value decreased 4.20%." Wilkie reported a total true-and-full value of $19,385,000 and a taxable value of $939,870 for Rushville Township for 2026.
Chairman Fjeldahl opened the floor for Rushville property owner appeals and none were made; the board then approved the Rushville 2026 values as presented. The board’s approval implements the updated agricultural soil-data reassessment cited by Wilkie and sets the township's values for the 2026 assessment year.
