Patrick County EDA to press state official on Enterprise Zone renewal and boundaries in July visit

Noah Mabe told the Authority that Patrick County's Enterprise Zone is up for renewal this year and that he and James Houchins had met with Mandy Archer from the Virginia Department of Housing & Community Development. Archer indicated she would visit in July to discuss the renewal process and possible incentives.
Andrew Overby asked whether there are limits on the size of an Enterprise Zone and whether boundaries could be adjusted. Mabe said he will ask those specific questions when the state representative visits and report back to the Authority.
