Register of Deeds Nicole Ziebell reported that June 2026 numbers showed increases compared with June 2025 and that as of May 2026 the office's revenue collected is at 43.27% of projection. Ziebell said software changes are expected to affect future operations and revenues.
Zoning Administrator Jean Potter reported year-to-date zoning revenue of $63,281 (57% of projection), a 2% increase from last year, and steady permit intake. Zoning Technician Zach Hughes reported 16 septic inspections, nine zoning on-site visits, and 19 sanitary permit reviews/issuances (two under state review). Hughes also provided customer-service metrics: 535 calls in June and peak walk-in days M/W/F in the mornings and around lunch.
