Register of Deeds Nicole Ziebell told the Planning & Zoning Committee that the office is adopting new eRecording software (Laredo Anywhere) for escrow accounts and subscription holders. Ziebell explained the fee framework, saying "$4 a recording with $2 for revenue for the County and $2 to Fidlar."
Ziebell said the new software should produce savings and that she has a meeting with the Budget Team on July 9 to discuss changes and the impact on her office's operations and revenue projections. The committee received the update; no formal action beyond discussion was recorded in the minutes.
